Holi Holi Holi

This weekend my family came down on their way to spring break and spent a couple days with me.  We had a weekend packed full of activities including the Holi color festival at the Hindu temple in Spanish Fork, multiple BYU campus tours, brunch after church at the duck pond, and a Sunday evening full of strolling Temple Square and attending Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City.  My mom brought me all her Europe stuff and I have been sifting through it like there is no tomorrow!  I am rereading her journal once again, and every other page goes something like this… “This is the best experience of my life”, “I am never leaving Europe”, “I have learned so much”.  I am anxious to see what I write in my journal…

Holi was just as fun as I expected it to be.  I could go every year for the rest of my life and never get bored of it!  My next activity is to attend a Sunday service in the Hare Krishna temple and get a taste of what Hinduism is really like…and I still need to attend a Catholic Mass…
