Ingredients
- 2 dried chilies
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2″ piece cinnamon
- 4 cloves
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1-8-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Dry roast the spices in a pan over medium heat until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Continuously move the pan. Remove from the heat and blend to a powder.
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in large pan and cook chicken until lightly brown on each side. Set chicken aside.
- Over medium heat 2 Tbsp oil and add garlic and spice blend in pan.
- Return the chicken to the pan and let simmer for 10 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with rice and beans.
